Another Net 30 – We need everyone we can get in Building Business Credit Now

Written by Kimberly Bennett on May 16, 2010 – 7:16 am

As business credit building is getting tighter, and less companies are reporting,  we need every net 30 account that reports as possible. I am planning on publishing an updated list of net 30 accounts that report but as I get new ones I post right away.  Let me first say that it has been really difficult to keep up with blog posts and emails since I have been dealing with a family matter but hopefully things should be a little better soon.

Anyway, back to building business credit. The name is the company is L3 Store, and it is an IT company. They offer net 30 terms and they report to DnB. Depending on who you talk to, they may say that they do or don’t, it all depends on if the person is a sales rep or a credit rep and knows what is  going on. I have had success with acquiring an account with them with a new corp but they took about 30 days to report to DnB. I simply called the 800 number and told them I would like to purchase a couple things but I will like to know what credit facility they have for businesses. I was then directed to the application and I ordered that same day. When I got the invoice and paid the bill in full and they reported about 4 weeks later. The website is http://l3store.com/ . Hope you add this to your records. If any of you readers have any other accounts that we can use in building business credit that I have not posted, feel free to suggest one.

Five Ways Credit Cards Can Save Your Marriage

Written by Admin on February 19, 2010 – 9:51 pm

A slumping economy, a soft job market, and rising credit card debt can strain relationships. If you didn’t manage to stun your spouse on Valentine’s Day, you may have to call for reinforcements to save your marriage. Fortunately, credit cards offer five great ways to rekindle romance.

#1: Redeem credit card reward points on a splurge.

Some affinity programs offer special “off-peak” and “last minute” travel deals that can let you whisk your loved one away to a romantic weekend at a fraction of the regular price. Combining reward points or miles from multiple programs using some card issuers’ reward exchanges can help you surprise your spouse.

#2: Use a 0% introductory offer for a great gift.

You can still find some good zero-interest offers on the credit card market, especially at retailers. To keep from spending over your head, budget out what you could reasonably afford to pay each month, then hunt down the best 12-month-no-interest deal on jewelry, electronics, or other gifts.

#3: Rebuild credit and refocus on the future.

If your finances took a hit during the downturn, now might be the time to develop a strategy for the future. Signing up fo

0% Credit Cards – The End is Near

Written by Admin on February 3, 2010 – 4:06 pm

With provisions of the new credit card laws due to go into effect on February 22, 2010, credit card companies are adjusting their offers accordingly.  Long term interest rates have already increased across the board and 0% credit card rates are likely to increase, and thus disappear.

With congress passing and President Obama signing the CARD act of 2009, provisions of which have been enacted already with the remainder to be implemented in 2010, credit card issuers are preparing for the most sweeping changes to hit the industry in decades. This, along with the uncertainty around consumers’ ability to pay their debts, has credit card companies closely examining their rates and incentives.

During the previous decade, 0% credit card rates were a way to entice customers to open a new credit card and move any higher interest balances to this card. The card companies knew that most consumers would not pay off their balance by the time the initial 0% rate expired, usually not more than 12 months. When the 0% interest rate expired, the credit card issuer would have a customer that was paying a much higher rate on a hefty balance. Als
